As a Mac user at home and PC at work, I know the problems with fonts being recognized by both computers. Mac has become such a popular brand, I wonder all the time why they haven’t incorporated the same font systems for each. Looking at the article of the common fonts, much of the main fonts are almost identical. It’s when you get into the more script typography for design purposes that fonts don’t switch over. I have this problem often.
